A man suffered serious injuries in a single-vehicle crash in Markham on Friday afternoon.
The vehicle crashed into a Shoppers Drug Mart store in Markham Town Square.
York Regional Police says it was two elderly people believed to be in their 70s in the car.
They say a female driver had minor injuries and was sent to hospital, while the male passenger sustained serious injuries and was sent to hospital.
It is unknown if the injuries are life threatening.
The Shoppers Drug Mart will be closed as investigators determine what led up to the crash.
