A 27-year-old man was taken to hospital in life-threatening condition following a collision between an SUV and a pickup truck Sunday evening.
Ottawa police, in a social media post Sunday evening, said Tenth Line Road at Wall Road was closed due to a motor vehicle collision. They asked the public to avoid the area.
According to an Ottawa Paramedic Service spokesperson, the SUV ended up on top of the pickup truck following the collision.
The 27-year-old, who was in the SUV, suffered “significant” injuries and was transported to a trauma centre while a woman in her 20s, who was also in the SUV, was taken to hospital in serious condition, the paramedic spokesperson said.
A woman in her 50s who was in the pickup truck was moved to a trauma centre in serious but stable condition.
The paramedic service took the call about the collision at 7:23 p.m.
