A man was taken to hospital with serious injuries following a two-car T-bone collision at Ninth Line Road and Parkway Road on Monday.
Ottawa Fire Services said it received a call about the collision from the Ottawa Police Service at about 4 p.m., and after arriving at the intersection crews found that one person was trapped inside a vehicle.
Firefighters stabilized the vehicle and began an extrication process using specialized tools.
One adult male was taken to hospital in serious but stable condition with non-life-threatening injuries, an Ottawa Paramedic Service spokesperson said.
