Marine rescue after car plunges into water at Ashbridges Bay

A marine rescue is underway after police say they received reports a car had gone into the water at Ashbridges Bay.

Police say they were called to the area around 9:30 p.m. Sunday. One of the two people in the vehicle is reportedly out of the car while the other person remains trapped.

Fire crews are also on the scene assisting with the rescue.
