Montreal-area home sales up 2%, end four-month streak of declines: real estate board

MONTREAL – Quebec’s real estate board says Montreal-area home sales rose 2.2 per cent on a year-over-year basis in March, ending a streak of four consecutive months of declines.

The Quebec Professional Association of Real Estate Brokers says 5,045 residential properties changed hands throughout the month in the Montreal census metropolitan area, up from 4,936 in March 2025.
