A motorcyclist has died after a crash on Colonel By Drive Sunday night, according to Ottawa paramedics.
Paramedics said they arrived at the scene of the crash, near Daly Avenue, at around 8:40 p.m.
The adult male appeared to have hit the curb and sustained life-threatening injuries, according to paramedics spokesperson Marc-Antoine Deschamps.
The motorcyclist was transported to the hospital where he was pronounced dead, Deschamps said.
Colonel By Drive, south of Daly Avenue, was closed during the collision investigation, Ottawa police said on social media, but the road has since reopened.
