A 57-year-old Ottawa motorcyclist is dead following a collision with a car Tuesday on Highway 60.
At about 4:30 p.m. on Sept. 30, officers from the Renfrew OPP detachment responded to the collision in Horton Township, which resulted in the highway being temporarily closed in both directions from Butler Road to Cotieville Road.
The motorcyclist was taken to hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The driver of the car was transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
OPP technical collision investigators and a reconstructionist attended the crash scene, and the investigation continues, police said in a news release Wednesday.

The crash occurred just outside Renfrew, about 100 kilometres west of Ottawa.
