A 53-year-old man suffered life-threatening injuries Wednesday afternoon when a car and motorocycle collided at the intersection of Highway 7 and Drummond Street West in Lanark County.
When officers arrived, an off-duty paramedic and bystanders were providing first aid to the motorcycle rider.
Lanark County Paramedics transported the 53-year-old Beckwith Township man to a local hospital and later to a regional trauma centre.
The OPP investigation is continuing.
