The OPP are investigating after the discovery of a male body and a motorcycle in a ditch on Flinton Road northeast of Tweed.
Just after 4 p.m. Sunday, a member of the public contacted police to report that the motorcyclist had been found, the OPP said on social media.
Police said the single-vehicle collision is being investigated by the Central Hastings detachment with assistance from an OPP collision reconstructionist and Forensic Identification Services.
The name of the motorcyclist was not being released at this time, police said.
Flinton Road is closed between Robinson Road North and Elzevir Road. Tweed is located about 190 km southwest of Ottawa, just off of Highway 7.
