On Feb. 24, Canadian entertainment leaders gathered at the Omni King Edward Hotel for the 28th annual Toronto Film Critics Association Awards, hosted by Tamara Podemski. The gala celebrated cinematic excellence in true Hollywood North fashion, featuring a red carpet filled with international and homegrown talents, including Emily Hampshire, Don McKellar, Rick Mercer and 2024 Oscar nominee RaMell Ross, who accepted the TFCA awards for best picture, best director and best adapted screenplay for “Nickel Boys.”
