Multiple victims sexually assaulted in North York, police say

Toronto police are investigating after multiple victims reported being sexually assaulted by an unknown male in North York.

Officers say the alleged assaults happened near Yonge Street and Sheppard Avenue West and at a separate location a short distance away near Bathurst Street and Highway 401.

The suspect is described as a five-foot-eight male with a medium build and a beard. He was last seen wearing a black jacket, dark pants, black shoes and carrying a black backpack.

An investigation is ongoing. No other details were released.
