Conditions continue to improve in Gatineau’s downtown area after a series of

water main breaks

on Laurier Street beginning on Tuesday, causing

havoc

on traffic, at offices and some residences.

The Canadian Museum of History announced it reopened at 10 a.m., but noted that a boil-water advisory is in effect.

“Signage is posted to this effect on taps and water fountains, and bottled water will be provided,” the museum noted in a social media post.

Also, the Michel Pagliaro concert originally scheduled at the Canadian Museum of History, has been relocated to the Canadian War Museum, in the Barney Danson Theatre.

Repairs continued in a number of spots on Friday.
