N.S. patients waited for more than 70 hours in the ER for hospital admission

HALIFAX – An NDP member of the Nova Scotia legislature says some patients at a hospital waited more than 70 hours in the emergency room before they were admitted.

In a letter to the health minister, Paul Wozney says the ER team at the Cobequid Community Health Centre are gravely concerned about the standards of care.
