No charges for OPP officers after anti-riot weapon used against man

The man refused to drop the hatchet and walked about 250 metres from his car. At 6:16 a.m., two OPP officers deployed the ARWENs, and a police dog took down the man. He was checked at the scene by emergency medical services and found to be uninjured, then was apprehended under the Mental Health Act and taken to Cornwall Community Hospital.
