Nova Scotia awards $2-million home care contract without public bidding process

HALIFAX – The Nova Scotia government has awarded a $2.18-million contract without a competitive bidding process for a review of the province’s home care services.

Barbara Adams, minister of seniors and long-term care, says the untendered contract is for consulting firm Davis Pier to determine areas that need improvement in the home care network.
