“We certainly don’t want to impact our bus customers any more than they have been already,” said Joel Lemieux, director of transit service delivery and rail operations. “And, currently, the capacity is sufficient on Line 1 with the number of (trains) that we have … The volumes on the platforms were what we would see on a typical rush hour, although it is a little bit more full onboard the trains, and that’s not ideal for our customers, obviously, and we want to work towards increasing that capacity. But, right now, the frequency is quite good, and we can manage all of our customers that would normally take Line 1.”
