One person is dead following a head-on crash between a transport truck and a pickup truck late Friday night on Highway 7 near Kaladar.
Provincial police said the crash occurred during heavy snowfall conditions shortly after 10 p.m.
The driver of the pick-up, who was alone in the vehicle, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the transport was taken to hospital with undetermined injuries.
Highway 7 was closed for several hours between highways 38 and 41.
Kaladar is about 160 km southwest of Ottawa.
