The North American premiere of “Just for One Day — The Live Aid Musical” had its official opening in Toronto on Feb. 2 at the CAA Ed Mirvish Theatre. Sir Bob Geldof, who spearheaded the original 1985 concert event to benefit Ethiopia, attended, as did two other organizers, John Kennedy and Harvey Goldsmith. The pre-show red carpet buzzed as the cast, creatives and VIPs gathered, and the celebration continued with a post-show gala in the theatre.
