Provincial police are seeking public assistance to find a motorcyclist who allegedly struck an officer after being stopped Tuesday for driving on the shoulder of Highway 417 during rush hour.
In a social media posting, OPP said the motorcyclist was stopped at 4:30 p.m. but then sped off when the officer approached him for questioning, striking the officer.
The officer received minor injuries.
Police are asking any members of the public who may have witnessed the incident or have dashcam footage to contact the OPP at
