The OPP are asking for help as they search for a federal offender known to frequent the Ottawa, Perth and Smiths Falls areas.
The Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement (ROPE) squad would like the public’s assistance as they look for Adam Reid, wanted on a Canada-wide warrant as a result of a breach of his statutory release.
He was described as a 36-year-old Caucasian male, 5-8 and 160 pounds with brown hair and blue eyes.
Reid is serving a two-year, fourth-month, one-day sentence for possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, possession of a schedule l/ll substance for the purpose of trafficking and possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000.
Anyone having contact with Reid or who has information regarding his whereabouts was asked to contact the ROPE squad at 416-808-5900 or toll-free at 1-866-870-7673 (ROPE), or Crimestoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS), or call 911.
