The 97th Academy Awards, taking place Sunday night at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, has shaped up to be one of the most wide-open races in recent memory.
The awards ceremony will be hosted for the first time by the American comedian and TV host Conan O’Brien. It comes just weeks after a series of devastating wildfires tore through Southern California.
