“When you collect bottles at the Beer Store, they have not been in touch with other materials, so they are not contaminated, which means you have high-quality material that can actually be recycled,” Leloup said. “If you put any alcoholic bottle into your blue bin, it is contaminated, and we know that glass in the blue bin is not being recycled.”
