A 60-year-old Ottawa man has been
charged with arson
causing property damage in connection to a downtown fire.
The Ottawa Police Service
responded to a fire in the 300 block of Rideau Street on Aug. 16, according to a news release.
Officers arrived at the scene at around 11:50 a.m. after Ottawa Fire Services had already extinguished the blaze, police said. There were no reported injuries.
