A 45-year-old Ottawa man faces a list of charges after an OPP cruiser was struck by a vehicle at about 9 p.m. Wednesday night while the officer was conducting a traffic stop on St-Laurent Boulevard.
In a release, Ottawa OPP said officers suspected the driver was impaired by alcohol.
Following testing, the driver was charged with a number of impaired driving offences. He received an immediate
90-day driving suspension, and the vehicle was impounded for seven days.
There were no injuries reported in the incident.
