Fifteen-year-old Hope Newell has been missing since July 31, and the Ottawa police have now asked for the public’s assistance as they continue to look for her.
The teenager was last seen in the Greenbank Road and West Hunt Club area. It’s believed she could be on her way to Sudbury, police said in a news release Wednesday.
At that time Newell was last seen, she was wearing a strapless white shirt, blue jeans, Ugg-style shoes and a black backpack. She was described as fair-skinned and 5-8 with brown eyes. She has brown hair with red tips and identifies as Indigenous.
Police said there are concerns for her mental health and well-being.
