Ottawa police ask for help as they try to locate missing teenager

The Ottawa police are asking for assistance from the public as they look for 14-year-old Emily Desvreaux, who was last seen in the Kanata area on Thursday, Sept. 25.

When she went missing, she was wearing black sweatpants, a black hoodie with animal illustrations on it and black running shoes, and was carrying a backpack. Desvreaux was described by police as white and 5-3 with blond hair and a slim build.

Anyone with information concerning her whereabouts was asked to contact the police at 613-236-1222, extension 7300.
