The Ottawa police have asked for help from the public to identify a suspect following a stabbing on Rideau Street on Oct. 24.
At about 2:30 p.m., officers were called to the scene in the 0-100 block of Rideau. There had been an altercation between two women, with one of them receiving “an apparent” stab wound during the incident, police said in a news release Monday.
The suspect was described as Indigenous and about 30 to 40 years old, with reddish hair. At the time of the incident, she was wearing sunglasses, a green hoodie with a white T-shirt underneath and black pants, police said.
