Pedestrian struck by tractor trailer in South Glengarry

A 33-year-old man was transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries after he was struck by a tractor trailer while walking in a business parking lot in South Glengarry Township on Tuesday night.

The Ontario Provincial Police said on Jan. 14 that officers from the Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry detachment were investigating the collision that occurred at around 10 p.m. in the parking lot on Boundary Road.

Anyone with information or relevant dashcam video regarding the collision was asked to contact the SD&G OPP at 1-888-310-1122 or Seaway Valley Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477). Tips can also be submitted online at seawayvalleycrimestoppers.ca.

South Glengarry Township is about 100 kilometres east of Ottawa.
