A snowplow driver who is under a “lifetime” driving suspension was arrested Monday night following a two-vehicle collision in Stittsville.
Ottawa Police Service said on social media that an SUV collided with the snowplow at the intersection of Fernbank Road and Black’s Side Road at about 7 p.m.
Police said Wednesday morning that the plow was stationary when it was struck by the SUV.
The driver of the SUV was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police said the plow operator was found to be under a lifetime driving ban and was charged with driving while under suspension.
He was also found to be wanted by Ontario Provincial Police.
No further details have been released.
