Police are investigating a death in the Carlington neighbourhood.
First responders were called to the 1400 block of Mayview Avenue at around 7:10 p.m. on Wednesday evening when they found a person with life-threatening injuries, according to the Ottawa Police Service.
Paramedics rushed the person to hospital, where they died.
Police said two individuals are in custody.
“Police do not believe there is an ongoing risk to public safety” police said in a news release. “The investigation is ongoing, and officers remain in the area.
Police were not identifying the victim as they had not notified their next of kin.
