Michael Harding was last seen Tuesday in the Montreal Road West area, and Wednesday the Ottawa police asked for the public’s help in the search for him.
Harding, 40, frequents the Sandy Hill and Vanier areas, police said in a news release.
He was described as Indigenous, 5-8 and 170 pounds with a beard and short, black hair. He was last seen wearing a green jacket, a white hat and dark jeans. Police said he also had a large wound on the right side of his neck.
Anyone with information about Harding’s whereabouts was asked to contact the Ottawa Police Service at 613-236-1222, extension 7300. Anonymous tips can be submitted by calling Crime Stoppers toll-free at 1-800-222-8477 or at crimestoppers.ca.
