Ottawa police are seeking public assistance to identify a suspect in the continuing investigation into an aggravated assault last spring in Kanata.
In a release, police say that on March 19, 2025, at about 12:45 a.m. police located a man with serious injuries in the 400 block of Hazeldean Road, near Eagleson Road.
The suspect was described as a Caucasian man with a large build.
At the time of the incident, he was wearing dark Puma jogging pants, a dark jacket with a white stripe and a white baseball cap.
“While investigators have pursued several investigative avenues since March 2025, they are now seeking the public’s assistance to help identify the individual,” police said in the release.
