Police seek witnesses after cyclist dies of injuries in south end crash

Ottawa police are seeking witnesses to a fatal collision between a vehicle and a cyclist Wednesday afternoon in the city’s south end.

Emergency responders were called to the collision at Bank Street and Dazé Street at about 2:40 p.m.

The cyclist was transported to the hospital with injuries at that time.

However, the man succumbed to his injuries on Sunday.

In a release, police said investigators are looking for anyone who may have witnessed the crash, or has dashcam or other footage of this incident.
