Ottawa police robbery detectives are seeking possible witnesses to a swarming theft on April 25 at the Rideau Street O-Train station.
Police said Friday the woman was attacked at about 8 p.m.
According to police, “members of the public intervened and assisted the victim,” but the attackers then targeted the Good Samaritans.
An OPS spokesperson said the force has five youths in custody, with charges including robbery with intent to steal, assault and conspiracy to commit an Indictable Offence.
