Quebec teachers' union survey says 90 per cent have faced violence on the job

MONTRÉAL – A Quebec teachers’ union says 90 per cent of its members said in a recent survey they were victims of some form of violence.

Catherine Renaud, a vice-president of the union, says 81 per cent reported being a victim of psychological or verbal abuse while 63 per cent reported physical violence.
