The
Ottawa Police Service
has released a photo of an individual it said was involved in a robbery in the 300 block of McArthur Avenue on Aug. 21.
A media release on Wednesday, Sept. 3, said the man entered a store at about 9 p.m. that day and began stealing items. When confronted by store staff, police said, the man brandished a weapon and uttered threats before fleeing the area on foot.
No injuries were reported, police added.
The suspect was described as a White man standing approximately five feet 10 inches tall with a thin build and light, blond hair. At that time he was wearing a black T-shirt and black shorts and was carrying a black satchel bag.
Anyone with information about the man’s identity or other details about the incident was asked to contact the Ottawa Police Service Robbery Unit at 613-236-1222, ext. 5116.
