Skateboarder struck by vehicle in Etobicoke

A pedestrian has been taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries after being struck by a vehicle while riding a skateboard in Etobicoke.

Toronto police were called to Scarlett Road and Eglinton Avenue, near the Humber River, just before 10 p.m.

The pedestrian has not been identified, and has sustained non-life-threatening injuries, according to police.

The driver of the vehicle involved remained on the scene.
