Subway service resumes at Bloor-Yonge station after suspicious package investigation

Subway service on both Line 1 and Line 2 was temporarily disrupted at Bloor-Yonge station on Sunday afternoon as police investigated reports of a suspicious package.

Toronto police were called to the station around 2:45 p.m. after the package was discovered at track level.

The station was evacuated as officials investigated. It was later determined that the package was not suspicious.

Subway service resumed just before 3:30 p.m.
