A 41-year-old Ottawa woman has become the third person to be charged with
second-degree murder
in connection with
Ottawa’s first homicide of 2026
.
Selina Rose O’Quinn was identified as the third accused person Friday. Ottawa Police Service said she was to appear in court Friday.
Shawn Challis-Eatough, 28, of Brantford, Ont. was found with life-threatening stab wounds at around in the 1400 block of Mayview Avenue on Wednesday night,
according to Ottawa paramedics
.
Challis-Eatough was briefly resuscitated and stabilized after he was found, but he later succumbed to his injuries in hospital.
Police charged 41-year-old Steve Vivian of Ottawa and 19-year-old Anthony Meredith of Kitchener, Ont. with second-degree murder on Thursday.
Ottawa police
said the investigation was ongoing.
