Three people were arrested Friday night following an apparent gunfight in a home on Victoria Street in downtown Pembroke.

The Upper Ottawa Valley detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police contained the residence. The homeowner was called out of the residence.

Police then entered the home and located three individuals, who were detained.

No injuries were reported or observed in the incident.

Two of the individuals detained were arrested on outstanding warrants, while the third person was arrested for failing to comply with a release order. A fourth person was interviewed and released unconditionally.

One party was released to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice at a later date. The two others still in custody were to appear by video before a Justice of the Peace on Sunday.

The investigation is ongoing, police said.

If anyone has any information regarding this incident, they are asked to contact the UOV OPP at 1-888-310-1122 or contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.

The parties will not be named to protect the victims as there is an intimate partner violence component to the incident.
