Toronto Public Library Foundation raises more than $1 million for youth programs

On April 3, the Toronto Public Library Foundation’s Biblio Bash 2025 made history, raising $1,070,100 in support of TPL programs. The sold-out black-tie event, presented by Fitzrovia and CIBC, drew 425 guests and 37 notable Canadian authors, including John Irving, Emma Knight, Carley Fortune, David A. Robertson, Scaachi Koul and Robert Rotenberg. Journalist, author and CBC commentator Elamin Abdelmahmoud hosted the evening, and the Toronto Star served as media sponsor.
