On Jan. 18, Hot Docs hosted a cocktail reception at Proof Bar in the Yorkville Royal Sonesta Hotel to celebrate the Canadian premiere of the film “Bob Mackie: Naked Illusion” at Hot Docs Ted Rogers Cinema. Toronto’s fashion and creative communities gathered to honour the legendary Oscar-nominated designer, with Mackie himself making an appearance at the event.
