Toronto’s primary transit operator suspended service at dozens of stops on Tuesday evening due to hazardous winter driving conditions.
“We have reports from #TTC operators on the roads that conditions have worsened to the point we will be taking our 56 storm stops out of service until further notice,” officials wrote in a social media post shared just before 8:00 p.m.
“We know this will be inconvenient for some customers, but their safety l, and the safety of our operators is paramount.”
