Two motorcyclists died Friday from injuries in crashes five days apart.
On Friday, a 71-year-old man from Ottawa died following a single-vehicle crash at about 9 a.m. on Highway 7 between Kaladar and Sharbot Lake.
The rider was transported to hospital, but succumbed to his injuries.
Highway 7 was closed for several hours between Arden Road and Mountain Grove Road for the collision investigation, but reopened later.

Meanwhile, another motorcycle rider has died less than a week after being critically injured in a crash in South Glengarry Township, the OPP said Friday.
The 23-year-old man from Quebec was found in a ditch beside County Road 2 in the Camerons Point area just before 9 p.m. on July 6, a news release said. He was transported to hospital by Cornwall SDG Paramedics and then transferred to a regional trauma centre.
Witnesses indicated that a car, described as a black Honda Civic or Accord, had been seen being driven dangerously in the area at the time of the crash. It was not known if this vehicle was involved in the collision, the police release said.
