Tyler, the Creator has announced a massive world tour and Toronto has made the cut for a concert date next year.
The American rapper, born Tyler Gregory Okonma, announced on Wednesday morning he will be embark on “Chromakopia: The World Tour” in 2025, with a show at the Scotiabank Arena July 24.
The tour will start in North America in February before heading to Europe in April, back to North America in June and ending in Australia in September.
The artist will also visit Vancouver and Montreal.
Rapper Lil Yachty and hip-hop duo Paris Texas will join as special guests.
Presale registration will open next Wednesday, Oct. 30, and be available until Thursday, Oct. 31.
The tour comes after Tyler, the Creator announced his eighth studio album, “Chromakopia,” set to drop on Monday.
A website launched to provide details of Tyler, the Creator’s new era includes the album cover art with the theme of green, black and white.
On Oct. 16, the rapper dropped a teaser on X, titled “St. Chroma,” speculated to be the first track on the upcoming album.
The past Monday, the rapper also released a music video for new track “Noid,” which is expected to be another lead single.
Meanwhile, the artist has announced the lineup for this year’s “Camp Flog Gnaw” carnival, an annual music festival held at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles since 2012 and curated by him. This year’s festival is slated to take place Nov. 16 and 17.
