WestJet’s owner is selling off a 25 per cent stake to international partners, and some industry experts say it could be a sign they’re looking to get out of the airline business entirely.

Onex Corp. announced Friday that the company is selling off a 15 per cent stake to Delta for $330 million (U.S.) and a 10 per cent stake to Korean Air for $220 million. (Delta also said it will sell a 2.3 per cent stake to Air France-KLM for $50 million.)
