Without a doubt, there has never been a tour like Taylor Swift’s career-spanning — and indeed, career-defining — Eras Tour.

After an estimated 30 million people tried to get tickets to her six Toronto dates over a year ago, the time has finally come for fans to attend in Canada. But you don’t have to be a Swiftie to know that.

From Pearson Airport to Taylor Swift Way, endless local business promotions and the giant friendship bracelet hanging off the side of the Rogers Centre, there are signs everywhere you look that the superstar is in town. But what does a rollout like this one mean for a city and its inhabitants, after the final confetti cannon has gone off and the tour moves on?

The morning after her first Canadian date, music critic Niko Stratis, entertainment journalist Jackson Weaver, Taylor Swift reporter Mark Colley and photographer Jasmeet Sidhu join host Elamin Abdelmahmoud to take stock of how Swift changes a city.
