A 61-year-old woman was killed in a three-vehicle collision south of Smiths Falls early Thursday.
The Ontario Provincial Police said its Leeds County detachment was investigating that crash that occurred on County Road 29 at Kitley South Elmsley Townline Road around 5:30 a.m. on Nov. 20.
A news release from the OPP said the victim, from the area, had been driving one of the three vehicles. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Other drivers had minor injuries or no injuries at all, police added.
County Road 29 remained closed for several hours during the investigation, but reopened to traffic later in the day.
