A woman has been charged in connection with an alleged hate-motivated assault at Wilson Station last July.
Toronto police were called to the station on July 2 for reports of an assault. At the time of the assault, police identified the victim as a TTC employee.
It was alleged that the suspect assaulted the victim, including throwing alcohol on the victim and uttering anti-East Indian comments and threats.
Police say the victim and suspect were not known to each other.
On April 15, Mursal Abdul Basir, 27, of Toronto, was charged with assault and uttering threats/death or bodily harm.
The investigation is being treated as a suspected hate-motivated offence.
