Hamilton Police say a woman who was shot in the Upper James Street and Mohawk Road area on Thursday night has died in hospital.
In a social media post, police said the victim was rushed to hospital where she was later pronounced dead.
Her exact age wasn’t revealed, but police described her as an adult.
“At this time, there is no suspect or vehicle description,” police noted.
